Climate Change, Population, and Social Justice: A Feminist Perspective
This talk focuses on youth advocacy at the intersections of population growth and climate change. It explores how neo-Malthusian approaches are being reframed through the language of social justice, and investigate the historical and current ways advocates link science and politics to produce global population policies. Finally, it proposes a way forward rooted in feminist approaches to both climate justice and reproductive justice.
